I lost those two offices and over 5 years kept making money in phone rooms closing deals. I would make some money and go open up another office. After another 5 failed operations, I started to believe that it was impossible for me to succeed in anything but what I have mastered which is sales.

I started to believe I was destined to only be a sales person and not cut out for business. I showed my new business to someone and ended up losing mine, but I saw that they took the same business model I showed them and made millions of dollars a year. At this point I was moving back into my mother’s house but determined more than ever to make money and start again the right way.

I was determined to succeed. 
I found a landlord next to my mother’s home where we unloaded a `50 sq foot room he was using as a storage closet with the smell of mildew, as my new office. I didn’t let the size, or the stench pull me down. I was back in business and taking calls. I started selling again but for my own business and this time not yet hiring employees. Just taking it slow and closing deals. 

We then started slowly hiring and I found Jack who came in a suit into my closet size office and almost left, but I convinced Jack to stay.

 

From there we did 5 million in gross revenue in the first 13 months, and opened up a 2nd office in Los Angeles and became one of the biggest sales rooms in the industry. 1. Identify the decision maker. No matter what industry you're in, knowing the decision maker is crucial to a close. It's not always who you think it is!

2. Create a sense of urgency. Attach a deadline to the deal to help give the client an incentive to commit.

3. Overcome objections. I highly recommend sitting down with your entire sales team and having them come up with objections they might anticipate.

1. Make a Commitment. If you are struggling with committing to a specific goal, go back and start the process over.

2. Break It Down. It’s good to have big goals, but many times, you can make them more attainable and realistic by breaking them down. Setting smaller goals is a lot more manageable and less overwhelming.
